In UTEC, digital technologies play an important role in the teaching and learning processes, and in the democratization in terms of access to higher education.
With this in mind, we design and implement strategies that support the development of digital solutions, and adjust to the demands and needs of various target audiences. We also seek to encourage and encourage the development of digital skills among students, teachers and the community as a whole.

Virtual Learning Environments

Web environment that allows students to do the practices remotely as if they were in a Traditional Laboratory. Once finished you can save the practice, share it and work with the results.
Digital University Education (EDU) is the virtual learning environment of massive open online courses (M.O.O.C.) designed and developed by the Technological University (UTEC), in collaboration with other national and international institutions.
Moodle is the virtual learning environment where UTEC curricular courses are located, students have access to learning resources and resources provided by teachers, direct and personalized contact with the course managers.
They are designed to replicate real situations, with the aim of training people and giving them the opportunity to practice and improve their skills. UTEC has developed the virtual reality application of all laboratories, access them here.
Web applications

Allows teachers to make a detailed record of all academic activities of each group, create classes, set up annual planning, record attendance, perform student qualifications and register courses.
It is a collaborative web space with digital educational resources from video tutorials, tips, manuals, in order to generate skills and competencies in the use of digital technologies in learning
UTEC teachers and students have a personal email account that allows them to access the applications offered by Google. Documents, spreadsheets, presentations, video calls, drive and other tools.
Students and teachers access from any device with Internet access to personalized rooms, both for access to face-to-face classes, as well as for the realization of classes with semipresencial modality within UTEC.
Augmented Learning

The academic management system allows a comprehensive coverage of academic processes, from pre-enrollment, enrollment to subjects, academic planning, managing resources is also integrated with the Moodle environment.
